Playgroup Sessions

Rising 3's
In our Rising 3's sessions we promote our 'home from home' aproach proving a variety of play based activities to support and stimulate your child. The relaxed environment gives the children the opportunity to join in with the planned activities or engage in free play. We do this by providing opportunities for the development of social interations and new experiences.

Preschool
Our Preschool sessions support the development of each child's independent skills by extending their learning and getting them ready for school. Children have a range of stimulating activities planned to enhance their development, as well as opportunities for free play.

As we are on the school ground we have links to St Peter's Catholic Primary School. Children use the school site for forest school enabling them to become familiar with school surroudings. During the summer term reception teachers visit playgroup to encourage children to form a relationship with their class teacher. Children that will attend St Peter's Primary School are given the opportunity to go and visit their new classrooms and become familiar with their new surroundings, whilst enjoying a story time with their new teacher. This all helps our children have a smoother transition to school.
